An opportunity has arisen for an Analyst Programmer within a large Blue Chip Organisation. You will be responsible for writing functional specification and technical design documents, validating business requirement documents and highlighting discrepancies and inconsistencies. You will also develop programs, write test plans and test programs to ensure that the finished product is robust and fit for purpose; provide production support for the business. Ideally you will be in a similar role and have two or more year’s commercial experience of systems development in a team environment. The following technical skills are mandatory: COBOL (able to read COBOL but not necessarily able to develop and code) Visual Basic, Oracle Forms*Reports, HP*MPE and HP Image. Experience with the following will be a considerable advantage Speedware, Visual Interdev, SQL Server 6*7 Domino R4*R5, HPUX, UNIX and Lotus Script. Please send CV’s to Stephanie Wheeler.
